Emergency teams hurried to a disturbance on a peaceful Scottish residential road.
Police, firefighters, and paramedics responded to the scene at Cotlands Park in Longniddry this evening, Tuesday, May 7, at approximately 8pm. The specific details of the incident are still unclear, according to reports from Edinburgh Live.
Locals observed officials in “body armour” on the street, and one resident advised others to “stay away from their windows.”
A resident, who wished to stay unnamed, remarked: “Stay away from your windows and keep safe.
“This has been happening for quite some time. There are numerous vehicles, police, fire, and ambulance on the scene.
“It appears they’re attempting to extract someone from a house. There’s a man on a garage roof wearing body armour in the rear garden.”
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service verified their presence at the scene around 8:30 pm.
Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service have been requested for comments.
