Gypsy Rose Blanchard is spending quality time with her family and former fiancé Ken Urker following her recent divorce filing from Ryan Scott Anderson earlier this month.
On April 27, Urker enjoyed some quality moments with Gypsy, 32, along with her father Rod Blanchard and stepmother Kristy Blanchard.
Photos on Urker’s Instagram show the group at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, near Rod and Kristy’s home in Cut Off, Louisiana, where Gypsy has been residing after her separation from Anderson.
In a snapshot shared by Urker on his Instagram Stories, Gypsy, Rod, and Kristy are seen smiling together in lawn chairs at the festival, which took place at the historic Fair Grounds Race Course.
Urker and Gypsy took a moment for a couple’s photo, smiling with their arms linked as they stood together on the street.
Highlighted in the photo is Gypsy’s tattoo, a matching Husky dog design she got with Urker as “a symbol of their strong bond,” according to her cousin Bobby Pitre, who runs the tattoo shop they visited, as reported by Scottish Policy Now earlier this month.
Gypsy’s recent outing with Urker and her parents occurred shortly after she ended her marriage with estranged husband Anderson, 36, which lasted less than two years.
The now-separated couple initially met in 2020 while Gypsy was imprisoned for the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, who subjected her to unnecessary medical treatments for years. They were married in July 2022 while she was still incarcerated.
Gypsy was released on December 28, 2023, and announced her split from Anderson less than four months later.
Gypsy had been previously engaged to Urker before her relationship with Anderson, as detailed in “The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard.”
After Urker proposed in October 2018 while she was still in prison, their engagement was briefly called off, then they reunited in August 2019, only to separate again later.
“He left me and it broke my heart,” Gypsy remarked about their breakup in “Prison Confessions.”
Raina Williams, Urker’s mother, confirmed to Scottish Policy Now that he reconnected with Gypsy following her divorce from Anderson.
Following her divorce announcement, Gypsy and Urker caught up over lunch and got matching tattoos inspired by dogs, though Williams emphasized that “they are not back together,” and their relationship remains strictly platonic.
“They’re very cool,” she stated to Scottish Policy Now about the once-engaged couple, adding, “Ken is simply being a supportive friend to her, and that’s it.”
